Dancehall artist Shatta Wale has disclosed that he hasn’t smoked marijuana in the past five months.
During a meeting with aspiring musicians in a hotel room in Navrongo, Shatta Wale shared this personal achievement and advised the young musicians to avoid drugs and concentrate on their music careers.
“Focus more on your music. Let go of certain things. I haven’t smoked weed for five months now, and if I tell someone, they might not believe me. I only smoke cigarettes,” he revealed, acknowledging the potential skepticism towards his claim.
Shatta Wale concluded his advice by emphasizing the importance of prioritizing one’s well-being and steering clear of harmful substances.
“Sometimes you need to quit certain things and focus on yourself. Build yourself up when the time comes again. But avoid tramadol and similar substances; I know boys who took those things and are now ruined,” he warned.
